E. Carlton Carter, Founder

I was born in Auburn, Alabama and attended Mercer University for both undergraduate and law school.

Having lived in the South and on the East Coast all my life, I developed an understanding and appreciation for art, literature, history, traditions, and all things social.

Several years ago, I became interested in fine printing and finishing techniques. I am committed to preserving the presses, type, knowledge and skills necessary to apply ink to paper in the traditional way.
